5 years ago, Julie & Joe Stoltz moved to the Alexandria/ Mount Vernon, VA. Since then, their love of the area has only blossomed. Engagement photos and wedding took place in Old Town Alexandria, holidays have been celebrated at George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate, and now they give back to the community by sitting on the Board of Directors for the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce (Joe) and the Board of the DC Crime Stoppers (Julie). Joe was even named one of 2019’s “40 Under 40” by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce! As they look for a home in the area to purchase, they want to give back even more and help local businesses achieve more with digital marketing.

Julie is a digital marketer with almost a decade of experience with agency and in-house work. She’s a specialist in social media strategy, analytics and content. The last five years she has worked at The Great Courses growing their social platforms, working with the team running customer acquisition ads, and honing customer retention practices. She is a passionate marketer as well as amateur baker and crafter.

Joe has a PhD. from TCU in Public History. He is Co-director of the George Washington Leadership Institute. He previously was a member of the United States Military Academy Department of History. He studies the integration of the Continental Army and its French allies during the American War of Independence. (Joe’s book on the Battle of New Orleans can be found here for anyone interested.) He is a chef and golfer in his spare time.
Lastly, the morale officer for Cherry Tree Digital is Gumbo. He’s a 12lb, 5 year old Yorkshire terrier with a bigger Instagram following than both of his parents combined. He loves cuddles, Greenies, and posing for pictures.
